Melody Carlson is an accomplished Christian author for children, pre-teens, youth, and adults, with sales totaling more than two million.
Some of her most popular works are the Diary of a Teenage Girl books series and the True Colors book series. She captures the realism of teenage life today and the difficulty that comes with being a Christian.
Several of her adult fiction titles are Christmas novellas from Revell, including her much-loved and bestselling book, The Christmas Bus.
Melody was nominated for a Romantic Times Career Achievement Award in the inspirational market for her books, including the Notes from a Spinning Planet series and Finding Alice, which is in production as a Lifetime Television movie.
Melody and her husband serve on the Young Life adult committee in central Oregon. They live in a cabin-style home next to the National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Mountain area of the Pacific Northwest. Their two grown sons and granddaughter live nearby and they try to see them as often as they can. They also have two “re-homed” pets to make life more interesting—yellow Labrador retriever Audrey and a Maine coon cat named Harry.
