(The Healing Touch #3)
In the midst of a violent storm, the favorite pastor of Dogwood Springs, Missouri, disappears, and the town's citizens begin a frantic race against time to find him while his new wife struggles with her faith.
RN Lauren McCaffrey is falling in love with Dr. Grant Sheldon and his teenaged twins, but when he pops the question she panics. Is she prepared to slip into the place of her much-loved and much-missed predecessor? Maybe she's been one of those people chosen to remain single to she can be freer to help others. She can't live up to the image of "perfect wife and mother" Grant's late wife seems to portray.
Dr. Mitchell Caine's personal struggles are affecting his practice after destroying his marriage. Now he is experiencing glimmers of a memory that is too horrifying to believe, if it's true. To complicate matters, his estranged daughter has returned home after years of rebellion, broken and in desperate need of a love he isn't sure he knows how to give her. Can he hope to help her when he has his own dark secrets?
Urgent Care combines the breath-catching pace of authentic emergency medicine with the comfort of small-town faith and values.
