2017 Fiction from Bethany House Publishers

Another Great Selection of Good Reads!

During 2017 Bethany House Publishers released 49 fiction titles. From historical to contemporary and even a few speculative titles, there was plenty to choose from over the 12 months from January to December.

Soul Inspirationz is sponsoring a giveaway of 3 books, winners’ choice of title. Giveaway open worldwide.

To enter, simply comment about the titles in the 2017 selection you have already read, which ones have been your favourites, and any that you missed out on reading but would still love to.     Out of all of these, I really liked Crown of Souls, An Inconvenient Beauty, True to You, Wings of the Wind, Deadly Proof, Threads of Suspicion, and The House on Foster Hill.

  4. I have read Kristi Ann Hunter’s An Uncommon Courtship and An Inconvenient Beauty, both of which I loved!!
    On my TBR list are: A Name Unknown, High As The Heavens, The Captain’s Daughter, the Chesapeake Valor series, The Farthest Shoes, and True to You. I also want to start Julianna Deering’s books, but I know book 1 is not in this giveaway.

  5. Of all those books, I’ve only read Still Life and Blind Spot. I really liked Blind Spot. I have Death at Thornton Hall, but haven’t read it yet. I would like to read True to You and the Sound of Rain.

    Dani Pettrey— Blind Spot and Still Life. All of Tracie Peterson’s. Murder at Thorburn Hall, Those by Karen Witemeyer, Jen Turano, Regina Jennings, Lynn Austin, Jiulie Klassen and Dee Henderson. I could go on

  7. Of the 49 books in that list I have read or own at least 23 of them so listing them would be a bit too long. Highlights for me were Jen Turano’s books, the Harbingers series, Dani Pettrey’s books, Julianna Deering’s books, The House On Foster Hill, and The Mark Of The King. One of the top books I still REALLY want to read is A Dangerous Legacy by Elizabeth Camden.

I have An Uncommon Courtship and An Inconvenient Beauty in my TBR pile.   17. I’ve read: The House on Foster Hill, The Sound of Rain, Wings of the Wind, A Love so True, The Chapel Car Bride, The Fartherest Shore, The Mark of the King, Holding The Fort, and The Ladies of Ivy Cottage. They were all good, but The Mark of the King and Wings of the Wind were outstanding.
    I would love to read any of the rest, but Always With You, High as the Heavens, & The Captains Daughter top the list.

  32. I LOVE Bethany House’s fiction line up each year.
    In 2017, I read The Mark of the King, Still Life, To the Farthest Shore, The Chapel Car Bride, Wings of the Wind, Heart on the Line, High as the Heavens, With You Always, A Name Unknown, The Two of Us, CHerished Mercy, Blind Spot, A Dangerous Legacy, The Sound of Rain, The House on Foster Hill, and Holding the Fort.
    Of all of those, I loved a lot of them. Probably the most memorable to me was The House on Foster Hill.
    There are quite a few I would still love to read, but True to You is right up there at the top of the list. 🙂

  34. I read Becky Wade’s True to You and Tamara Alexander’s A Note Yet Unsung. I also just got House on Foster Hill for Christmas and just started it yesterday.

    Book money has been tight and so many great books came out last year. I’d love to still read Dani Pettrey’s Still Life and Blind Shot, Jen Turano’s Behind the Scenes and Out of the Ordinary, Dee Henderson’s Threads of Suspicion, and Karen Witemeyer’s Heart on the Line.

  41. There are so many of the books listed that I have read which equate to 19! There were ones off hand that I remember reading and loving, such as A Dangerous Legacy by Elizabeth Camden and A Note Yet Unsung by Tamera Alexander. In fact, there were many great books I had the opportunity to read.

    That said, there were still books I noticed I missed out on, two of which stand out in my mind are: High as the Heavens by Kate Breslin and The Mark of the King by Jocelyn Green.

    I see many more books in my need to read from the ones listed above.

  43. I’ve already read Roseanna White’s, A Note Yet Unsung by Tamera Alexander, and An Uncommon Courtship by Kristi Ann Hunter. These were my favorites! Oh, and Becky Wade’s was stunning as was Melissa Jagears, Julie Klassen’s….! How do I pick????!!!! I can’t wait to read Victoria Bylin’s and Jen Turano’s!
